We collect only what we need to deliver your order and answer your questions. Nothing more.
Who processes your data
Xtrona, Luxemburgstraat 20, 9140 Temse, Belgium — CBE 1032.099.301 — info@xtrona.com.
What we keep, and why
- Your order: name, address, e-mail, phone number and what you ordered. Needed to perform the contract.
- Your payment: the confirmation from the payment provider. Your card or account number never reaches us.
- Your e-mails: so we can answer your question.
- Invoicing data: VAT law requires us to keep it.
- Website usage: only if you consent to it.
Your account
An account is not required: you can order as a guest. If you do create one, we keep your first name, last name, email address, the addresses you enter and your order history — so you do not have to type it all again each time.
- Favourites: the products you save belong to your account. Only you can see them. We do not use them for advertising and we share them with no one. Save something while logged out and we keep nothing at all.
- Login attempts: to stop anyone guessing passwords, we briefly remember the IP address a failed attempt came from. A quarter of an hour at most, and only to slow that address down. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting your account.
Want your account gone? Email info@xtrona.com and we will delete it within a month. Your order and invoicing data stays for as long as VAT law requires, but is no longer tied to an account.
For how long
Order and invoicing data are kept for seven years, as the law requires. Your e-mails are kept for two years after the last contact, then deleted.
Who we share it with
Only with the parties needed to handle your order: our payment provider, the logistics partner that ships your parcel, our hosting provider and our accountant. They may use your data for that job and nothing else.
We do not sell your data and we do not rent it out. Full stop.
Your rights
You can ask at any time what data we hold, have it corrected or erased, have the processing restricted, object to it, or receive your data in a readable file. E-mail info@xtrona.com and you will hear from us within a month.
Unhappy with how we handle it? You can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — dataprotectionauthority.be.
